Selfish Husbands - I’ve Had A Few! (I.P.)

All my selfish husbands, one, two and three
Equally protested their love for me
I gave them all a fair crack of the whip
And I said no kids so go get the snip

The first deceived though he said fair enough
The lying toe rag left me up the duff
So I got rid of the deceiving cheat
Then came number two who was really sweet

We were in love and happy for a while
Even his little one could make me smile
I must admit it was quite small in size
But on occasions it seemed like a prize

The trouble was that it soon deflated
A tale so sad it’s best not related
But the upshot was he too had to go
For reasons you can guess should you not know.

Then before too long I met number three
Who was rich and seemed besotted with me
Before I found out he was a gambler
When all the time I thought him a rambler

But he’s cleared off and I’m saddled with debt
While he made his escape in a Learjet
Now being poor I stand out in a crowd
Because all my men left under a cloud

Now I’m on the lookout for number four
Because I am not destined to be poor
And I’m determined to have a good life
So think on, I might just be your next wife!

Moya, I think you've just written my life-story (though I don't tend to marry them.) Loved this, your humour is one of the best on the site and you always make me smile ... unless of course you are making me cry and you've done that a few times ,too.

new Denzella Hi! Moya this made me laugh! I thought1 course not true! But I agree everyword Scooz006 has remarked on,your sense of humour! wow! I will never understand as long as he lives! Sarcasim in fun,memory poor,behaviour bad! Now the care! That couldn't care less about me, go0es off,particularily, while waiting three weeks, ear drops finish tomorrow! hope hearing comes back full. Special drops,I can't do. They both say got eyes,how awful but if traffic can't hear,got cross busy roads,and two buses for singing for pleasure. Without him? suppose some? can't show care when needed. Hearing aid not great,till later after drops! Thank goodness finish tomorrow. Wet weather here. Going get hotter! have good week end. julie x

Hello Julie, Thanks for lovely comment and really glad it made you laugh. Sounds like you need a laugh at the moment. I will have to have a go at writing one especially to make you laugh and will try to make it my top priority. Hope hearing is better now finishing with drops. Be careful crossing roads but know how much you enjoy singing for pleasure. Cat is your life...Husbands can be just for Christmas! Keep smiling, Julie. You've brightened up my day! Moya

Gulp! Made me chuckle Moya. We are all selfish bastards really. Even the nice ones. (Oh, if I wasn't unpopular already, I am now - broken the vow). Swim hard and you might just catch that gin palace!

Coffee, please Linda and I'm safe because I haven't got one to hide. Happy to be inspiration Moya, and just glad it was for humour and not something devastatingly tragic :-) I can't wait to meet you, too ... but so far it's going to be a skinny affair (though I can single-handedly make up for that) Alex was but now can't .... so we've got, you, PT, Magic, Tony of course, Peej and me ... so have a look round for some likely bums (on seats that is) if you grab `em, I'll clonk them on the bonce and PT (oh no, we can't have a parson) amend that to Magic can tie them up and PT can say a prayer for them.

Hello Sooz, Are you serious? There are only six for York. Then we need to keep posting it to the forum. I can't believe only six people interested in going. My daughter would have come but she's just coming back from holiday that day. I'm sitting here wracking my brains. Oh, it will be so disappointing if it doesn't come off after all. Didn't Blighter's say something about coming? We'll just have to drag 'em off the streets. Moya

As far as I know. I agree we'll keep posting about it on the forums and bring out the thumb screws if necessary. Every time I see this title I want to add ... but then again, too few to mention.
