In the end, there's only money,
they say. Do you believe it?
Hedge-fund your bets, sing
'We're in the money!'
It never ends. Or does it?
Gold standard? Interest flags.
Sound as a pound
has a hollow sound.
Petro-dollar, petro-d'Allah?
Watch the Taliban tariff
plummet on the fear exchange,
people have living to worry about

I like to avoid complicated
I like to avoid complicated thinking where possible, so I don’t concern myself too much with all the latest theories and expert opinion about how the world has got into such a financial mess.
I just content myself with the reassuring thought that all these top-notch politicians are running about sorting everything out with the same intelligence, foresight and expertise that failed to see it coming...
(so they would have us believe).
Still, for those with a little money you can buy almost anything at rock bottom prices.
So, if you’re in the market, the Earth is on sale at the moment at a very reasonable price...
It’s under new management and a radical restructuring is planned requiring 3 Billion workers to be dismissed to return it to profitability!
Almost all the shares in the planet have been acquired and there are just a few remaining in the hands of workers' co-operatives which are not expected to survive for long.
:O)
