The difference of different

Which picture is it,
On the painting,
That is your heart
Is it the world,
That you carry 
Always finding joy,
In the company of others
Lightening burdens,
By sharing hopes and dreams
Finding solace in commonality
Then realizing the world,
Is not so scary,
And you're not so different

Or is it a mirror,
That resides there
Allowing you to love,
Only yourself
So you sit alone,
Laugh alone,
And live alone
Which is not the same,
You tell all those who will listen,
As being lonely
All the while,
Carrying a secret fear,
That you're not different enough

I like the simplicity of this - nicely done G! 

One small typo at the end of each stanza - should be 'you're not so different'

Doh! Thank you Insert, and thank you! I noticed the second stanza had one too many lines, and corrected that, too. I would also like to take a moment to say, that since joining this wonderful site and community, I have grown as a writer. And would like to thank the staff who runs it, and all the terrific writers who are part of it!
