The French live overseas
They eat snails and frogs
If you need the toilet
They’ve most unusual bogs
They’ve invaded once before
Can they be trusted now?
They built the channel tunnel
In under 30 minutes they’d be passing Slough
Despite how close they are to us
They still insist on speaking French
Close the tunnel, stem the tide
Build a defensive trench
Then wait quietly
While the French all play Charades
When they stop work weekends
Take our chance – we invades!
