There's no place like home 9/9

“Are you enjoying your holiday?” asked Jennifer Jane
“I’m alright now,” replied Wilfred, “although it was a bit tricky getting here. There are so many little people running around in this world, I had to keep stopping to avoid treading on them. I’m just not used to all these crowds. I’m afraid I knocked a few trees over on the way here, trying to keep out of their way. To be quite honest I feel a bit closed in when I’m indoors, that’s why I come up here and sit in the open, it feels more like home.”
“You’re suffering from claustrophobia,” said Jennifer Jane.
“Am I?” Wilfred replied, “well whatever it may be, indoors feels stuffy to me. Mind you it’s nice to have someone your own size to talk to. I usually have to bend down to hear what people are saying, or lift them up on my shoulder. Then I get a crick in the neck trying to look at them while they speak. No offence meant,” he added.
Eventually Jennifer Jane flew off, knowing that Wilfred was happy and that the pool was looking after itself, thanks to Fundin’s efforts. A week later she went down to the pool with Drawrof intending to canoe over to the Witches’ Home for a lesson with Abigail.
As she approached, she was rather surprised to hear happy sobbing just round the last bend in the path. There was the giant as usual sitting on his grassy mound, wrapped up warmly in his new cloak. He saw Jennifer Jane come round the corner, sat up straight, drew a deep breath and yawned stretching his arms above his head.
“It was very nice meeting other people for a change but there’s really no place like home.” He leaned forward and dropped another happy tear into the pool.
