He speaks a song so salty in tongue
It trickles so swiftly through me still
Lifted and falling and fading away
The corners are hazy and my silence is shrill
My fingers are doubtful and chasing away
As my mind's eye is caught somewhere below
My scene has surrendered to the canvas he sold
So I'm shadowed and missing and careful not to know
