Right I’m gonna have a go at a love poem today
You might need to help me out in case I lose my way
But this girl that walked past me earlier today
Stole my heart, put it down gently to lay
In a field of scented blossoms
Surrounded by singing fountains
Below beautiful ice cream topped mountains
Beneath gentle cherry breezed possums
With glitzy horn rimmed sparkling glasses
A big wig done up and styled with a top on
Flowing sequined flouncy dress on
Cheeky smile and high heeled shoes on
She was a dame for eyes to alight on
Her name was Edna on that I’m certain

Beneath gentle cherry
Beneath gentle cherry breezed possums... lovely
who could resist her?
Clever and funny.
