Let me tell you about Skegness
We went there in the cold
I'm not sure if it 's ever warm enough
For sun seekers or the old.
But when we went to Skegness
We stayed at a popular resort
I won't tell you what its name is
And give them a chance to retort
The chalets were nice enough
Fairly new and painted fresh
But the beds had plastic sheets
It made you dread the meals redress
And right I was to do so
The cafeteria was a mess
With rotten wood and peeling plaster
Which was in the water cress
No sooner as the meal was finished
And we were back in the chalet bed
All hell broke out of my rectum
And to the toilet I quickly fled.
Luckily I made it
Thank God for speedy legs
Cus' the toilet took a beating
I needed some clothes pegs
The next day I woke up refreshed
If not a little starved
My girlfriend suggested swimming
But to that I merely laughed
Skegness is a wonder
Surrounded by cabbage fields not corn
Where discerning members of the public
Are yet to have been born
