All I See

Black is night, the absence of other colors, and all that is available to me. Blue is water and sky and also a familiar emotion. Green is both nature and lust and can also represent certain political ideals. Red can be a fresh wound mixed with pain in addition to passion and sex. Purple is something I currently fail to grasp and cannot yet understand. Yellow is cowardice; orange is fire; white is purity, but they can all be sunrises and sunsets when it is time to speed up or slow down. Gold is greed, yet it also shines and I almost know the meaning of that. Silver is the frame in which we keep our dreams when they are not strictly auditory.
Blind people who were born with sight can still remember some colors. Those of us who have never seen them can still imagine.
