Forgive The Sad Times

There are moments in life marked with a tear or a smile.

I seem to remember the moments that bring rain to my aisle

Those moments seem like yesterday, like tomorrow or here.

So I fight, longer, harder and better, for it to clear.

I gasp, I tremble, I shiver till the leaves fall

But autumn has ended and in spring I'm still scorned.

But you know the saying, tomorrow never knows?

So I give it a smile in the night and pray that it never goes.

For if you lose the needle of hope, sometimes it takes years to find.

So live long enough to be happy and forgive all the sad times.
