Hiding behind the mask,
Of which I call my face,
Talking is a task,
Not a spot is out of place.
I'm crying on the inside,
I'm reaching out to you,
I have to swallow my pride,
Now this is my cue.
Blending in is a chore,
Standing out isn't my intention,
This has been done before,
Its like an eternal detention.
I'm labeled the 'funny girl',
Of which theres nothing behind,
School goes by in a swirl,
Maybe I'm actually kind.
If it wasn't for my jokes,
Would you talk to me,
Behind that jester cloak,
Is someone whos unhappy.

Some good rhythm developing
Some good rhythm developing here, and good rhymes again. Make sure all your verses 'scan' - try counting the syllables to make sure the verses are even, to match that strong rhythm, so line one of each verse is the same, and the second lines match, and the third, etc...
