Staring at the plus sign,
That was showing on the stick,
I rushed to get my husband,
Nearly twice as quick.
I clutched my flat tummy,
Within was a tiny life,
Trying to adjust,
To being a mother and a wife.
As my bump grew,
So did the love,
A smile was stuck on my face,
A miracle from above.
Before I knew it,
You were being pushed into the world,
And in my arms,
I held my little girl.
The rush of love was instant,
A face I'd never forget,
You were so beautiful,
Never would I regret.
The sparkle in your eyes,
Has never faded,
As I watch you grow,
For the world I'd never trade.

Wow, I love this. The last part put a tear in my eye :)
Plus, very good for someone your age (I'm only fourteen though :P) and about something very "adult", good job.
