Infinite Sky- entry 3

In these days of grey skies
The sun seldom shines
It all seems dark and gloomy
And the cold makes you freeze
The calendar tells us the light is returning
So it’s good to look on the bright side
And wait slightly impatiently
For Spring to light our way
To bring warmth and the rebirth of nature
With budding beech trees
And Spring flowers
To give way to summer’s infinite sky
Where grey clouds seldom daunt the horizon
Instead there is blue upon blue
With happy birds flitting from tree to tree
And bees hovering over pollen stems
Mother Nature showing its abundance
For all to enjoy
These dark Winter days are for lighting candles
And feeling the warmth of the fire
Of hot drinks and hearty meals
And sharing the security of home sweet home
If you don't have these possibilities
you are very unfortunate
look forward to Spring and Summer
where life is not as hard
and be sure that there is love and care in the world
for all
