Sheeting down at my sealed double glazing locked bubble
shaking the day with your reign
armies queueing behind you, diaries full
anti-sun missiles at the ready
'don't you dare try it, squire'
Days
pass, still iron blankets hover heavy
looking daggers
mass of mountains climbing heavenly
the unconquerables.
Below, the scene splitting
ant-like darting
shields of umbrellas fighting back
with colours of the rainbow's arc
Ceasefire ahead on the misty horizon
penetrates the sodden spirits
wrings out a lifeline
Lightning strike defibrillates the weary
electrifying the heartache's hold
Who are you that cometh so?
