Your light licked the corners of my locked rooms
Shrunk fear to a whimper
Stretched hope across my shoulders
Made me appear in mirrors, fleshed out a face
Unprised fingers that held time still
Unpeeled these cataract eyes
And I stare here at what I remember
Through vapour trails of your existence
Knowing tonight I may see you again,
In thinning dreams upon my pillow
