We dance in separate rooms,
The Dance of Life -
But briefly, through a doorway
Our lives entwine.
The internet - we met,
We grew and blossomed
Brightly in the virtual sun,
Reality a dark dream
Forgotten in the sunshine.
I fled the dark dream
Soaring in search of virtual sun
My reality poorer
My spirit richer
I blossom brightly still
In the virtual light.
You stayed behind,
You live the dark dream
Like an insect
Trapped in amber anguish,
Like a caged bird
Beating on the bars,
Unloading sorrows
Into my sunlit days
But briefly, through a doorway
Our lives entwine.

Hi Hourhouse,
I agree with seashore, you've managed to capture so
many feelings in this poem.
Thankyou for the read.
Jenny.
