The stars shimmer
The all so familiar scene begins to unfold
The demise of her inner being
The death of her heart
The musky water below threatens to engulf her whole
But she dare not go
For she has knowledge of the consequence
She once before has been tempted by the dark
The dark she had come to love
The dark she has come to fear
For it is the love of the dark which has made her fear
Her heart screams his name
The dark whom she had come to love
It is the dark that hides her tears
The stars in the sky rain upon her
They illuminate her face
And for the first time in history
You could see translucent tears fall into the murky waters of this love forsaken place

Well then Ilovewriting99,
Well then Ilovewriting99, this is different. You are a Trojan horse of a talent - invading us with your versatility. This piece has a coquettish feel about it but also a depth and earthyness. You clever poet.

Well done again - real
Well done again - real emotion here and I feel like I'm afraid of the dark reading it (just like I once was many years ago).
