ANOTHER EUROPEAN SUMMIT!!

So they're meeting again for no reason
decisions will wait, Micawber ignored.
The leaders won't starve, nor die of thirst
be sure that the beer and wine will be poured.

The food will be fine, they are not paying.
They'll talk and talk without ending.
They don't really have to worry,
It's not their money they're spending.

While you count your pennies
they count their expenses.
They'll count and they'll count,
but won't come to their senses.

The biggest decision they'll take that's for sure
Is the date of the next one or maybe one more.
They like to think forward but THINK is just a word.
But for them, don't forget no more meets is a bore.

So they're flying to Brussels from all over Europe;
And how many millions will go up in smoke?
What they will decide will not change a thing
they don't realise that Europe is broke.

Watching Merkel and Sarko is really no fun.
Neither one realises the ^plight going on.
They live in their castles seeing nowt that is real
While the people get nothing and all hope is gone.

A grand parent I know has been thinking
What future for my little ones?
As he thinks his hopes keep on sinking
All he sees is no work and he groans.

Austerity now is the keyword.
But for who? It is not quite so clear.
Don't worry it will mostly be you
the leaders have nothing to fear.

Don't tax the most rich, it ain't on.
Tax too much and the birds fly away.
This mind set unwise ignores all the rest
Who pay and they pay and they pay

But in our world, oh so fast
The people see what's going to pot.
The leaders have need to beware
For elections can change quite a lot.
