War Planes and Gardens

the meaning of life, a tempest
of fiends, friends, foes
a land of tears
where somethings rot
a dance once sought
a hope once lost
recount your seeds
of orchids yet
Sequoia
the war plane lacks
a pilot, shivering
with desperation
a man, forgetting his
opaque garden
build, man, build
your farewell,
make us forget
or
be Athena, hoot
swivel heads, 360--
unbound of law,
vigilant
love or perish
die or cherish
breathe my dreams
of milky rivers
because copper
dreams scream
your buds
in Spring blossom.
So hush until
Sex is a thing, not will.
grow in mind
in spirit
in face
be the thing you
wish to taste,
because death ends
a life, not a relationship,
summons you,
dormant volcano--drags
you in, like
love yet
Not.

I like the contrasts of social conflict agaist relationships. 'milky rivers' and 'opaque garden' are lovely. Perhaps 'not' on the last line could not be capitalised? It would carry just as much weight.
