Lifebuoy
I am a yoyo bobber
A cabin boy drifting
gently fevered
waiting
to be rescued
I've not so much slipped my moorings
as my desert island disc
I'm a broken record
Mildy marooned
Flaring up then dipping
like a sea biscuit
into your saltiness
I throw myself
A rash line
That's misconstrued before it hits the water
I need a life guard
A light saber
A rubber ring
A life buoy
Soapy
Fresh
Slippery and smooth
Fish boy
Life boy
Life saver
Ahoy
