It is the fate of a docker
that Davy Jones’ locker
will be his last resting place.
As he drowns he retraces
the journey of his life,
a mixture of joy and strife.
He recalls the first kiss,
the courting, the bliss
of ensuing wedding bells;
the sand, the seashells
when they lived by the sea.
The pledge, then the plea
to refrain from divorce
that she sought to enforce.
The parting, the agony,
the custody, the acrimony,
the sale of their house
to provide for the spouse.
All this can be seen in his eyes
as he sinks to the bottom and dies.

This is a good overview of someone's life, but wouldn't there also be FEAR in his eyes as he sinks to the bottom? It seems too calm somehow.

Hey Luigi! It's Durham

Hey Luigi! It's Durham actually - got rejected by Oxford this Christmas. But not to worry - Durham is actually number one for English in Britain at the moment and Oxford is second! And also don't worry about missing my comments - I fully intend to stay a loyal abctaler when I'm at uni!
