The Wonders of Technology

I could not connect
to the internet
but the reason why
defied my intellect.
I followed the hints
of a computer geek
but to no avail,
it was all greek to me.
I checked connections,
changed the microfilter,
but the whole system
was still out of kilter.
The landline phone
was dead as well,
it had no dial tone.
I could make no calls.
Tried to find out
the cause from BT
but help was needed
from my ISP.
With a cell phone
I called the helpline
expecting everything
would soon be fine.
For quite a while
I was thwarted
but eventually
the fault was sorted.
The net is back;
yet is not much use
while I was waiting
I lost my muse.

Nicely done, Luigi. And I hope you find your muse again after all that. Entertaining, of course. Keep well. Paul

Not easy to use the time
Not easy to use the time waiting to compose, frustration doesn't help the muse! But it would have been nice to have a few compositions ready for when you were once more online! Rhiannon
