Is my music too loud?

The blue sky, glistens on my window sill
Trees shadows reflect my walls.
Through their windows my neighbours sit motionlessly at rest
Down below in my house she yells

"TURN THE MUSIC DOWN"

I gaze blankly at the ceiling, absorbing the words
Words swirling around my head.
The noise is loud, words revolve doom gloom and misery
It feels so safe in my cave in my bed!

"TURN THE MUSIC DOWN"

Again, she bellows even louder this time, with a sharp sting
Can't she empathise. Noise equals escapism from this tedious
existence
Lived. I clamber upright. Walk over to the tape - STOP!
No more
