The Holder

I look, I see, where is it?
The light? It should be here
Just here,
Not succumbing, to fright
I sit, I watch, but still
There is no light, no hope
Where is it? It should be here
Just here,
Not rolling away,
Down the impending slope.
I wait, I stay, but still
There is no one, no guide
Where are they? They should be here,
Just here,
Not hiding, in the night.
I have nothing, no one,
I am alone, in a world of evils,
Where are they? They are there
They have come for me,
I will wait, watch, they will come
I will go, on
To the next place, where it will be waiting,
The holder,
He holds the light,
The guide,
The holder holds my soul,
And now he holds me.
For I am nothing now,
I am nothing without my soul,
I am nothing without the light, to show the way
The guide, to help me see the path,
I am nothing, now,
When I am without this, I am no longer me
No longer do I exist, except with him,
The holder,
Who holds the keys,
And now, holds me.
