REMEMBERING

I feel a jogging memory,
But none so that I gain
A picture-perfect recollect
And none to be the same-
It bounced about the membranes
And peaked upon my mind-
Some alphabetic test I tried
When at first I could not find-
It is only when the jogging stops
And the wheels, they cease to turn,
When something far is sudden near
That is then that I have learned-
