Early in the morning when all the day was peacefully dawning, the dulcet tones of the greediest ugly rang out, sharper than a knife' edge. It slashed through half past six.....
"It's all aranged for tomorrow night," she screamed exultantly, "They really believe it's me!"
"Great," said her Mother (?) "She'll never know. I always wanted to do it this way, to be able to say there was nothing she could do to stop us,.. and to brag about it to my dying day."
"I'm going to be the future queen!" she brayed, spitting her teeth everywhere, nothing can stop me now!"

I got out of bed, my ears still ringing. She must have decided having tried for ages to marry me off to two men, to go do it herself. After all they were rich and powerful, and .. that was absolutely all she cared about. That and to make sure she claimed any thing she thought I might be able too.

The only thing was.................. she doesn't know exactly who .. I am. She might want to use my name though..... and claim she wrote my books, and thought my thoughts... Mind readers are ick, the scum of the universe.

In the face of over whelming normality he would have lived linearly. Or was he a time travellor thrust back into time, past his own birth? Then up until his early to late 50's (possibly earlier then) he would have lived linearly, except that when the growth process started to stop, he might have started to get younger.... forcing his return to his own time... if he didn't...
Right up until to the final stages, when he became a part of someone's elses body. If he was lucky - he might again be reborn, only as that had happened, unless he'd changed time significantly it was sure to happen again.
of course it's fiction? only it's an interesting conjecture.
