The Twilight Zone

I walk through a crowd but completely alone
At the same place in the Twilight Zone.
Crossing the motorway makes perfect sense,
It's not there in the Twilight Zone, nor is the fence.
In the Twilight Zone no one's ever died,
No one's ever been born, they've always been alive.
In the Twilight Zone there's no pain or disease
And everybody can do just as they please.
In the Twilight Zone fish fingers fill up your plate
And cheap supermarket chocolate tastes great.
In the Twilight Zone cheap cans of lager are fine
With the taste and bouquet of an expensive wine.
In the Twilight Zone I can play the guitar
And it doesn't sound awful, I'm a great music star.
Whenever I materialise
The girls in the Twilight Zone can't believe their eyes.
The Twilight Zone is not very far,
It's wherever you go, it's wherever you are.
It's a different dimension, a different kind of space,
Side by side with your world, it is in the same place.
