gossiping on rooftops
filmic vistas
backlit by sun.
time's hammers
sculpt the silence
shafts of light
through curtain gaps.
silver squirrels
scamper shimmering
wind whispers
through dawnlit leaves.
folk of all ages
yawning stretching
rub sleepy eyes
welcome the new day .

Nice poem Mark, I'm not a morning person myself, but good progress. It's much better now ... 9 instead of 11am. but haven't see dawn for years. Seriously.
