Caledonian Air

A rabbit and a guinea pig had to learn to fly,
One December in a force eight gale.
They didn't have a plane or a big balloon,
Just a hutch with a kilt for a sail.
They flew to John O Groats after visiting Kintyre,
Where they made friends with some bagpipes in mid air.
On their way to Aberdeen, they just missed a flying tree,
But took on board a squirrel and a hare.
By the time they reached Arbroath, they were getting short of
room,
They'd invited in a badger and a goose.
As they passed by Inverness they were joined by three lost moles,
But they had to refuse entry to a moose.
Finally the wind grew calm, the hutch began to fall.
The passengers all hugged each other tight.
They landed with a thump inside a haystack in a field.
And had a whip round for the crew and thanked the captain for the
flight.
