Arthouse films

are good.
If you haven't seen this list of five films I love
that were all made on small budgets

friends and family
they ran out of money! This happens in arthouse films

all the time. One explosion in a Hollywood film
could finance the entire back catalogue of my favourite Italian gritty directors
the injustice is big.

DON'T say you like Woody Allen films.
He is as mainstream as Britney Spears
if my friends and I watch his films it's ironically.

What is important is that everyone knows I like arthouse films
a good score makes me think
existentially.

I watch films standing up.
Sitting down is so cliched.
I don't stay until the end
by the time the end credits are rolling I am in a cafe

working out what happened for myself.
