Hannah's mum has never eaten strawberries

When the sun came out
the Big Brother contestants lounged in the garden
the man on the market stall listened
to cricket commentary on the radio.

We loaded Martini into the Asda trolley
and stacked up charcoal for the barbecue.
I was playing with a skewer

which had held my meat together.
The sunburn started to tingle
and I thought about Hannah's mum
