Abducted By Aliens

They came here from a distant planet with a mission to save our world .

Ian arrived at the Garden Centre as usual ready for a days work .

The only thing was no one was there to instruct him what to do and where to go . Being disabled he required help with his daily duties .

But there was no supervisors there .

Brian the general manager was usually in his office , but he too was absent.

So Ian waited for people to come but after twenty minutes no one did .

So he decided to find something to do , as his lift had gone and it would be a few hours before transport came to bring him home .

He pushed himself in his wheelchair down to the nursery section where he worked putting price tags on all the items .

He worked until eleven which was morning tea time .

He pushed himself back up the ramp to the administration building .

Still there was no one around in the office and decided to try to ring his support team but the phones were all dead .

Something was just not right .

Without any explanation or reason why everyone was missing he began to panic a little .

He pushed his wheelchair into the lunch room and opened the fridge .

There was a salad roll there and some milk and a few bottles of water .

After he ate and drank he went outside in his wheelchair to look for a supervisor . But still could not find anyone there.

He tried to remain calm and pushedis wheelchair up the steep ramp to the exit of the garden center but it was too hard .

As it was getting closer to lunch he remembered that the lunch lady from the Hungry Bodys Café always called to take the orders .

Ten minutes later when she did Ian waited in the general managers office .

When she entered the office Ian told her what was going on in the garden center . She laughed at first thinking he was making it up but soon changed her tune when no one was there to place the lunch orders .

It was at this time a small space craft landed in the garden center right in front of Ian and the lunch lady . A strange noise began to come from the space ship and one by one the garden center staff walked out from the spacecrafts door where a bright light shone .

As all the garden center workers returned to their work place as if nothing had happened . Six young men who used to be disabled came softly walking towards Ian and the lady . One of them produced a ball from his pocket and hurled it into the air . The ball sat there in mid air motionless .

Ian and the lady fell into a deep sleep and the six men stood and stared with a smile upon their face.

They carried Ian and the lady over into the spaceship where they were placed into a chamber for lift off .

As the space craft's engines were turned on the six men took a place inside the crafty . Then in a few seconds it blasted off from the ground .
It shot into the sky and into the beyond alone .

As the two new members of the crew regained their consciousness they were approached by a group of green skinned creatures .

"Welcome to our ship "

They said and continued .

"If you don't want to come with us we understand why, but its time to enter another dimension . We must be leaving so is it hello or goodbye ?"

Ian looked at the lady and suddenly one of the young men stood up and said .

"You remember me . I used to be disabled but now I am normal again . These creatures are able to help you with things . Trust them ."

Ian wiped the sleep from his eye and said

"Lets go ."

The lunch lady nodded her head in agreement .

The space ship shot into space at speed .

Planets and stars whizzed past .

Ian was placed inside a strange compartment where he was hit with lasers and other devices beyond comprehension .

He felt an explosion within his chest and before long his legs where like new again . He walked from the compartment on his own legs for the first time .

His body felt new and revitalised .

After a while the space craft landed on another planet .

Ian walked off and saw many strange looking plants growing on the surface .

He never knew any of the species . They were a mystery .
He had never seen anything like them anywhere .

The lunch lady joined Ian and as they walked around they soon were surrounded by the inhabitants of the planet . .

One of them spoke .

"Let me tell you what is going on . Pay attention because soon you will be gone from here and back again to your own world . We have chosen this time to visit your world to say hello and help you . The garden centre where you work will be growing our plants from here and establishing on your planet this particular species . You will begin a mission on Earth to grow these plants that never die . They have certain healing properties within their sap .that will prolong and ensure a healthy life for all who use them . "

The lunch lady asked ,

"Why am I here ?"

Out from the crowd came this two headed being with green fingers and huge web like feet . He presented some roses to her and said .

" Fancy a cup of tea?"
With a wink and a grin and a nod of the head.

The lunch lady asked .

"I beg your pardon "

"You have been recruited to use our plants in your sandwiches and tea . We have been monitoring your shop and decided that you can become a useful part of our mission . If you use the plants we will supply you in all your cooking and food preparation you will be assisting in the process of new health to all those who buy from your shop ."

"Why are you doing this ?"

Ian asked .

Suddenly a strange purple mist fell down and another creature responded ,

And said ,
"The people on your planet need our help . Your wars have increased and the state of mental and physical health has grown into crisis point . We have been instructed by a higher power to intervene before you destroy your planet and your race completely "

After being assisted back into the space ship Ian and the lunch lady were given a warm cup of tea and something to eat . Their mkinds were suddenly filled with knowledge and in a flash they were gone .
The spaceship blasted off, leaving a scorch mark across the universe .

In no time at all the ship landed back in the Garden Centre .
After some small talk and communication among the staff and Ian they watched the spaceship take off into the sky .

Everyone was busy at their work places potting up the new plants .

The had an importance and an urgency about their work now .

All those who had once been disabled were now able to communicate on

Higher levels and work in a new roles as gardeners .

The general manager called together a team to work in new areas for more money than they had ever had before .

New work conditions were to be put in place and new morals were now to be addressed .

Everyone had a part to play in this mission .

There would be no problem that could not be solved with any one who worked

At the garden center . From now on everyone was a very important person .

The Manager had come to an understanding of the major issues everyone had been entrusted with .

The visitors had made a change to the minds and attitudes of all those who they had spoken to .

In the foreseeable future life would take on a new meaning at Garden Center and the whole world would soon benefit from that .
