I woke up this morning and I wanted to sing ,

there’s someone I’m missing ,

Flightless without a wing ,

love has a deadly sting  , helpless to her I’ll cling ,

She is my everything ,

its an awful feeling lost without her loving ,

All that today will bring

is more of the longing for her I want to sing ,
