Well now if you’d like to know just what it felt like long ago when the pace of
life was easy and slow and people had the time to say hello
then maybe you should take a seat
and meet Bobby on a Bowral street
where he could show you how it was
on a Bowral Carriage Ride

Everybody in the town wave as he goes round
There’s no place that you can hide on a Bowral carriage ride

With two horses for the show pulling the carriage don’t you know
what a unique treat , I must say ,
to find your way through town ,
the escape can begin , its such an easy thing to do ,
to see another view of life on a Bowral carriage ride

There’s another mile to go for a cup of Latee on the go
at the Corbett Plaza there
where there’s a bucket of water to share
with two thirsty horses on the street
who earn their keep week after week
taking the tourists around
on a weekend carriage ride

Yes, I think it would be less stressful without the hurry,scurry,impatient,angry drivers, where folk might have more time for each other. I wonder though about what my place in the world might have been. No sanitation/disease/death in infancy/poor health/no benefit system for those that need it. Utopian world.....how great that would be. Esther

Esther I think you have made some interesting comments and your place in a perfect Utopian existence would be to enjoy the stress free lifestyle . The Principalities of this world would be dead and gone forever . Now , how great would that be ? Regards Paul
