The Child With The Wind In His Hair
By Paul McCann
With the highlands in view he’ll be looking for you ,
call him Darragh , the child in your eye .
He’s an innocent soul , with dreams for to hold ,
like a kite in a clear open sky .
Catch on quick , she'll be right , .
yeah the future is bright for the child with the wind in his hair .
Ooh do you know Darragh ,
where does it go Darragh .
Can you hear the wind blow oh,
Oh Darragh where does it go .
With the eye of a rover he will surely win you over ,
like the sunshine through a dark cloud passing by .
Then to a road in the sky he will sail on by and by
past the plains and back again to Kildare
Ooh see innocence fly through the wide open sky,
for the child with the wind in his hair .
Ooh do you know Darragh
where does it go Darragh ,
can you hear the wind blow oh,
Darragh where does it go .
Where angels like to roam Darragh has a home
filled with love to keep and care for him
and the secret that I know, is where ever we may go
is to be like a child if we can , so innocent and free ,
so I'm trusting you will be like a child with the wind in his hair.
Ooh do you know Darragh where does it go Darragh
can you hear the wind blow ,
Ooh Darragh where does it go .
Tell me where does it go .
