Cruising

Cruising down the freeway,

just you and me with nowhere to go,

loosing our way some times,

just listening to the radio .

Smoothing over what we should do

and letting our wrinkles disappear.

refusing the time of day ,

winding down into another gear.

Cruising on the deep blue sea,

just you and me, for a little while.

Snoozing in the sunshine

as our troubled minds, begin to smile.

Amusing conversations about being castaways ,

forever lost at sea , choosing to live out our fantasies ,

you and me .

Cruising , just cruising .

I’m so happy to be cruising with you.

You and me cruising through life

is a beautiful thing to do .

Cruising is so beautiful

with you’re with the one you love .

Out there on the ocean

with the stars twinkling up above,

or driving on the freeway,

with so many new places to see.

As long as we’re together cruising,

that’s where I want to be

Cruising , just cruising ,

I’m so happy to be cruising with you

You and me cruising through life,

is a beautiful thing to do .
