The End Of The Season

T’is is the season to be Jolly,
and the season when COVID went mad .
A season to end all seasons
and the season we nearly never had.
It was a season of coughs and sneezes
with everyone  looking at you
An end of the season that took us
to a year when we can start anew .

With a new season ahead ,

we never know

what awaits us when we’re there

so let’s be jolly and a little bit mad

and pretend we don’t care
