Face’s On The Menu

In a busy restaurant ,

Some faces were looking gaunt 

Some other faces were happy 

and sad , others were carefree .

So many different faces ,

From all kinds of strange places .

Dark skinned , white skinned ,

yellow  too , some red skinned , 

and some looked blue ,

Then I saw an angry face ,

Sitting like he owned the place .

I’m just another face who 

sometimes could  get angry too ,

with things that I’m growing through , 

I smiled  at him .

He smiled too .
