The Fall

The sound of her fall

kissed the ground where she lay

and her teardrops fell  as the snowflakes fell

but no one heard at all

I know how she felt , when she called out for help

and nobody came .

Its hard when you’re old, lying there in the cold

and you don’t know your name.

Night time falls

and silence falls and no one’s there ,

God help us all if no one cares ,

Moonlight falls

and shadows fall upon the ground ,

dewdrops fell and daylight fell

and she was found

and the wonder of it all is I still recall the look on her face ,

so peaceful she was and it was because

she was given the grace

after the fall .

Angels fall

and when judgment falls ,I hope and pray

To see her again

and  speak her name on that day ,

after the fall .
