Structure
The Sappic
This Sappic stanza, as you can see, is composed of four lines.
The first three lines, 11 syllables long .
The last line only five syllables .
In addition to its strict syllable count
the stanza also has a very particular meter .
The first three lines has two trochees,
followed by a dactyl,
followed by two more trochees .
The last line has one dactyl and one trochee.

Relax, sit back, perplexed is no way to be .
Feel free like a river running to the sea.
Peaceful thoughts in harmony with you and me .
