Freedom Skater

He’s happy out there where the cold wind urges him to skate over   

the thin ice and deep in his heart he wants to leap into freedom and make it

  to where  no one has ever been before .

              Sometimes when you’re out there skating

there’s a kind of feeling that you get as you sweep big and wide,

with a devil may care attitude through the air where nothing matters anymore .

With the wind in his hair and tomorrow a long way off

he finds that there’s a beauty in the extreme sports

and its out there where no one goes

that the freedom skater finds wings to soar .
