Keeping The Dream Alive

So many of us standing in line ,

and we all  trying to push our way through

Its taking time but we’re doing fine

we’re hoping our dreams will come true ,

Always in a hurry , running out of time

its getting harder these days to survive

I missed the train  , its 6:45

but I’m still keeping the dream alive  .

Credit cards and mortgages , direct debit on our wages ,

the cost of living , he daily grind ,

looking for a break that never arrives

and we’re still keeping the dream alive    .

A train tolls in to platform one

and there’s a ticket  for everyone ,

we’ve  all got cars we can’t afford to drive

but we’re still keeping the dream alive .

Petrol costs are way too high

so you’re better off to ride on a bus ,

we’re all working hard trying to survive

and we’re keeping the dream alive .

The interest rates are all on the rise

and the stock market’s falling again    ,

we’re all need jobs from 9 to 5

and  we’re keeping the dream alive  .
