A Kind Awakening

I hope when the morning come’s I will find a kind awakening

as I open my eyes at the new day that has come ,

and when I arise and walk out the doorway

 I will see her standing there before me in the beautiful bright morning sun.

Then as I go to her she will reach out her hand

and she will bid me good morning and I will take her hand in mine

and smile and in her eyes I will see the kindness of awakening I have missed

since we last kissed and sure hasn’t it been a while .
