I’ve heard about a storyteller who lives by lazy lagoon

Come on down to the River there on a Sunday afternoon

You can find him there in a cottage singing the same old tune  ,

the wild birds like to chirp along late in the afternoon .

If you are a dreamer , he would love to see you there

He’d love to tell you stories if you have some time to spare

He has visions of a world like a colourful cartoon

They always come in the twilight hours down by lazy lagoon

They say he living a dream there , down by lazy lagoon

Spinning mystical stories for the man who lives on the moon

If you are a dreamer , he would love to see you there
