Life Without The Car

Have we really come that far,

since the invention of the car ?

It makes me wonder sometimes

as I see the way things are .

So what if we could go back

to travelling on horseback,

sure it would be slow but much safer you know .

That’s a fact .

Trotting to work , off we go

Time to stop and say hello

With those we meet on the way.

No need to speed or road rage

along some busy freeway .

Imagine no more traffic jams,

No more green slips or rego .

Cars would be in museums

and in the future they’re know,

how it was so long ago

when cars were
