Man With A Backpack

I saw a man just lying there ,
lying there was he .
With a backpack on and dying ,
dying there was he .
Alone on an empty road ,
in the country was he .
There was no one else around
and nothing could I see .

Nothing but this dying man
and almost dead was he .
Nothing could be done now .
He was dead as dead could be .

So why did he die you must wonder ,
why did he die ?
The backpack was a parachute ,
that’s the reason why .
I saw a man who fell down ,
from high up in the sky .
It’s a long way down to the ground,
if you’re wondering why.
the cause of death was written down ,
he fell from the sky .

Suicide or an accident ?
Only God knows why .
