A New Song

A New Song

A door in the sky opened up and a song fell through ,

lucky I  was able to catch it before it flew .

far away into the purple mist where blue pigs fly

across an endless desert oinking as they pass by .

I wrote a note on an escalator that was flat

as a tack on a noticeboard hung upon a rack

where the wind chimes went jingle jangle all the day long

wakening the man by the door who sang a new song .
