One Star Shining

Over all the land the snow fell so white 

and over the desert sand there was one star shining bright  .     

Over the oceans deep and on the city street

there is just one light shining bright .

Over all the earth for the Virgin Marys birth 

there was just one star shining bright .

Over hills and mountain tops

and factories and shops ,

Christmas brings its very special light .

Jesus is the light that shines every day and night

and in the end there is just one star shining bright .
