Peace

What I once loved is always there ,

in my heart to stay .

All I never knew cannot change,

the day she went away.

Although she’s not by my side ,

she is always in my heart ,

We are only a thought away

and that’s not very far apart .

 

 

I read the note she left me

but I couldn’t answer back .

Sometimes the only answer is,

in silence to reflect .

I may not be there physically

with her everyday

But in my spirit I speak her name

every time I pray .

 

There is nothing to forgive ,

there is too much to forget .

I will carry on as normal

with nothing to regret.

So many things went wrong for her

but that’s all in the past,

Her suffering is over now

and she’s found peace at last .

 

 

Peace be with her ,

 peace be with me and peace be with you too

May you find peace in everything you do

.

And everywhere you go bring your peace with you,

peace that lasts forever that no one can take away  .
