At This Time Of Year

At this time of year I ask for nothing more than being loved

And loving in return and knowing that you’ll always be for me

a good friend that I can call on ,

so I can tell you how much I love you

and I need to be around you cause you’re special ,
at this time of year.

Love, only love, makes the tinsel shine , at Christmas time

and in your eyes , thank God I realise,

that you are mine .

. At this time of year I think how beautiful it is ,
when Christmas comes around and
At this time of year I there is joy in every sound

like the laughter of the children as they wait for Santa Clause

and in the silent nights reflection

I sometimes pause remembering how much I love you,

at this time of year.

Love, only love, makes the tinsel shine , at Christmas time

and in your eyes , thank God I realise,

that you are mine .

At this time of year when all the Christmas cards arrive

and I think how lucky that I am with family and friends

to care and share a word there at this time

’here when peace and joy is all around

Throughout the coming year may love be yours

at this time of year .
